Cosori TurboBlaze CAF-DC601-KUS Review: 6-Qt US Model

Verdict: The US Cosori TurboBlaze CAF-DC601-KUS is worth shortlisting if you want a six-quart single basket, a wide 90–450°F setting range and a DC fan whose speeds follow the cooking programmes. It is not the smart cream model and its fan speeds are not an independent user-adjustable dial. Choose it for those documented controls and capacity, not an untested promise that every meal cooks faster.

What the DC fan changes

Cosori assigns different fan speeds to cooking functions. That is useful differentiation from a conventional fixed-workflow fryer, but it does not mean you can select any fan speed at any temperature. Choose the programme for the job and adjust the settings permitted by the manual.

The manufacturer advertises an “up to 46% faster” comparison against its CP168 Pro Gen 2. That is a manufacturer comparison under its conditions, not our matched-load result. We have not measured the same meal in both machines or shown an electricity-cost saving.

Capacity and household fit

Six quarts is a medium-large single-basket class. Our practical shortlist is a household cooking one main component or a generous side, provided the food fits with airflow around it. Cosori’s three-to-five-person positioning does not guarantee that complete meals for that many people fit uncrowded.

If you need two foods on different schedules, a single basket is still the main limit. A wide temperature range does not create another zone. Check the usable internal dimensions if a particular dish or broad fillet must lie flat.

Materials and cleaning: match the production version

Cosori’s current dark-gray product page specifically describes a PFAS-free ceramic coating. The older downloadable manual more generally describes aluminium basket parts with nonstick coating. Before buying old stock or a used unit, confirm the coating statement for that exact offer rather than assuming every production run has the current advertised surface.

The manufacturer permits dishwasher cleaning of the removable basket and crisper plate. Let them cool, use non-abrasive tools and follow the supplied manual. Exterior stainless-looking trim or colour is not proof of the food-contact material.

Is standard TurboBlaze smart?

The CAF-DC601-KUS manual links to VeSync recipe content. That does not establish connected appliance control. The cream CAF-DC601S-WUSR is a separately identified smart model with explicit VeSync functions; do not transfer those features to this standard version.

Questions before ordering

Can it replace a Dual Blaze?

Ordinary Dual Blaze uses upper and lower heating around one basket. Standard TurboBlaze instead emphasises the DC fan and broader temperature range. Neither is a two-drawer cooker.

Will the Mini bundle sell me this exact standalone unit?

A bundle title alone does not prove the full constituent model codes or warranty. Confirm the bundle contents instead of treating its ASIN as a standalone TurboBlaze offer.

Is it suitable for a European socket?

The cited model is rated 120 V, 60 Hz. Choose the correct regional version; a plug adapter does not change voltage.

Find the right Cosori fit

Use the Cosori model directory, household and meal guide, capacity and countertop guide, heating and basket layouts and buying priorities. Compare standard TurboBlaze, Smart TurboBlaze and Pro Gen 2 before choosing.

Sources and review method

Clara Bennett checked the manufacturer material and exact US identities on October 24, 2026. This is a specification-led assessment, not a hands-on cooking, noise or energy test. Manufacturer speed and serving claims are not independent test results. Current stock, prices, warranty and accessories must be checked for the actual regional offer.
