“Dual” does not always mean two independently timed baskets. Cosori uses several heating and basket layouts. Separate the number of heaters, the number of cooking zones and the number of removable baskets before choosing.
The three layout questions
- How many foods need their own temperature and finishing time?
- Do you need one wide undivided space for a large item?
- Would one larger basket or two smaller compartments be easier to wash and handle?
Those answers are more useful than a large preset count. Programmes select cooking settings; they do not create additional chambers.
Compact single baskets
The Mini CAF-LI211 (See Mini CAF-LI211-AUS (gray) price), US Lite CAF-LI401S-AUS (See Lite CAF-LI401S-AUS (4.0 qt) price) and US Pro LE CAF-L501-KUS (See Pro LE CAF-L501-KUS (5.0 qt) price) each have one pull-out basket. The Mini is the small manual-control family. The Lite adds smart functionality; Pro LE offers more nominal volume without making Wi-Fi the selling point.
The regional Lite Chef Edition 3.8 L and Pro Chef Edition 4.7 L follow the same basic one-basket workflow. Do not transfer electrical ratings or exact dimensions between regions because the capacities look familiar.
Larger single baskets: capacity or airflow controls
Premium II 6.2 L is the larger European preset-basket option. US Iconic CAF-SE601S-CUS (See Iconic CAF-SE601S-CUS (6.5 qt) price) is a distinct premium single basket with five selectable fan speeds and manufacturer-described ceramic-coated food-contact surfaces. More fan-speed control does not create a second cooking zone, and we have not independently measured a cooking advantage.
Dual Blaze: two heating directions, one basket
Ordinary Dual Blaze CAF-P583S uses upper and lower heating elements around one basket. Its layout can interest people who want heat from both directions, but it does not provide two independently removable drawers. Claims about reduced shaking or turning are manufacturer design claims, not a universal promise that every food needs no attention.
The US 6.8-quart and European 6.4-litre versions must be checked against their own regional model and power rating.
TwinFry: a removable divider in a wide basket
European TwinFry CAF-TF101S-AEU, 10 L changes the workflow: one broad basket can be divided into two zones. Remove the divider when the full-width layout suits the food. You still handle a large basket assembly rather than two separate drawers.
This is distinct from a conventional two-drawer Dual Basket, the 8.6-litre TwinFry Compact and the US nine-quart TwinFry. Familiar names do not establish interchangeable parts or regional electrical ratings.

Older models: safety before layout
CP158-AF Max XL and CS158-AF smart-family units are older one-basket models with listed variants in the 2023 recall. Their historical smart/manual distinction can help identify an appliance. It does not change the direction to stop using an affected unit and follow the official remedy.

Conventional controls, programme-linked DC airflow and Smart
| US model review | Basket and controls | What it does not mean |
|---|---|---|
| Pro Gen 2 CP168-AF (See Pro Gen 2 CP168-AF (5.8 qt) price) | Detachable inner/outer basket parts; manual panel | The two nested parts are one cooking zone |
| Standard TurboBlaze CAF-DC601-KUS (See TurboBlaze CAF-DC601-KUS (6.0 qt) price) | Single basket; five DC fan speeds linked to programmes | Recipe-app access does not make it a smart cooker; fan speeds are not individually customisable |
| Cream Smart TurboBlaze CAF-DC601S-WUSR | Single basket with explicit VeSync features | Confirm matching documentation and app restrictions rather than borrowing another code’s manual |
Compare all three designs if you are deciding whether wider temperature functions, a different basket assembly or connected monitoring solves your cooking need.
