Quick decision: Choose the US Pro LE for its five-quart basket and straightforward manual controls. Choose the US four-quart Lite if the smaller capacity suits your meal and smart monitoring is useful. Both are single baskets and both have a 450°F maximum setting; neither wins simply by listing more recipes.

Start with the meal that does not fit
If the reason to replace a smaller air fryer is repeated batches, Pro LE’s additional nominal volume is the relevant difference. If your meals already fit a four-quart basket, that extra volume may not help. We have not measured both usable basket floors, so check internal dimensions if a specific dish or broad item must fit.
Both cook one shared basket at a time. For a protein and side needing different settings, plan compatible foods, batches or a different layout. A one-quart capacity increase is not an independent second zone.
Smart monitoring versus a simpler panel
The Lite smart family offers VeSync functions; Pro LE is the straightforward manual-control alternative. Recipe access in an app should not be confused with remotely controlling the appliance itself. Current smart features also depend on app support and setup.
If you dislike phone setup, select the controls you can use comfortably from the panel. If notifications solve a real problem in your routine, Lite is worth considering after capacity is confirmed.
Which takes less counter space?
Do not assume the lower quart number means every exterior dimension is smaller. The US manuals list different body proportions. Check width, depth, height, the handle and operating clearances against your counter. Both need room for the hot basket to come out safely.
Cleaning and value
Both families use removable nonstick basket components. Follow each manual’s care instructions, allow parts to cool and use non-abrasive tools. We have not established a universal ceramic or PFAS-free claim for either family.
Compare today’s delivered price, local warranty and matching spare parts. A temporary coupon or recipe-count claim should not outweigh a capacity mismatch. We do not publish a winner based on an unverified price or an invented cooking test.
Are the European Chef Editions the same purchase?
No. Similar 4.7-litre and 3.8-litre volume classes do not establish identical electrical ratings, dimensions or warranty. European shoppers should use the regional Lite/Pro/Premium II comparison.
