Cosori Dual Blaze TwinFry 10L Review: Models & Specs

Short answer: Cosori’s European Dual Blaze TwinFry is a 10-litre, 2,800-watt wide-basket air fryer that can run as one Grandzone or as two 5-litre zones with its divider installed. It is not two separate removable drawers. Check the rating-label model code before relying on a manual: older documentation identifies CAF-TF101S variants, while Cosori’s current downloadable manual lists CAF-TF102S regional variants with slightly different published ranges.

Editorial note: This is a specification-led model-family review based on Cosori’s current European product page and manufacturer-hosted manuals. We have not claimed hands-on testing. Where Cosori’s older and current documents differ, both are labelled rather than blended into one false specification.

Verdict: who the 10L TwinFry suits

The TwinFry makes sense for a household that regularly needs either one broad cooking area or two foods on separate schedules. Removing the divider gives one wide basket for a larger item; installing it creates two 5-litre zones controlled from the same appliance. Sync is useful when the foods need different settings but should finish together, while Match copies settings between zones.

Its drawbacks are equally concrete. At 51.8 cm wide and 9.2 kg, it is not a compact appliance. The basket remains one large assembly even when divided, so lifting, serving and washing are different from handling two independent drawers. The 2,800 W European electrical rating also rules out casual use on a 120 V supply.

Identify the exact TwinFry version first

“Dual Blaze TwinFry 10L” is a family name, not a complete electrical identity. The model code is on the appliance rating label. Cosori’s current German product page links a manual covering CAF-TF102S regional codes including CAF-TF102S-ADE, -AES, -AFR and -AIT, plus V-prefixed regional versions. Older manufacturer-hosted documentation identifies CAF-TF101S-AEU/AEUR.

Documented family Published specification What to do
CAF-TF101S-AEU / AEUR 10 L; 2,800 W; 220–240 V, 50 Hz; 35–240°C; 1 minute–48 hours; 33.8 D × 51.8 W × 31.3 H cm; 9.2 kg Use the older TF101S manual only when the rating label matches
Current CAF-TF102S regional variants 10 L; 2,800 W; 220–240 V, 50 Hz; 40–240°C; 1 minute–4 hours; same published dimensions and weight Use the current Cosori download and the suffix matching your market

The difference in minimum temperature and maximum timer is why retailer copy should not be treated as a substitute for the exact manual. A seller may use “Chef Edition,” a colour name or a bundle name without changing the heater platform—or may reuse an older listing after the documented model family changes.

One Grandzone or two divided zones

The TwinFry has one 10-litre basket, two crisper plates and a removable divider. With the divider out, Grandzone treats the width as one cooking area. With the divider installed, Zone 1 and Zone 2 can be programmed separately.

  • Grandzone: best when width matters more than two schedules—for example, a broad bake, larger protein or one large batch.
  • Dual-zone mode: useful for a main and side that need different time or temperature settings.
  • Sync: coordinates the sequence so two zone programs finish together.
  • Match: copies the selected settings from one zone to the other.

This layout is more flexible than a fixed pair of narrow drawers, but it does not provide two separately removable baskets. If you usually serve one zone early or carry each dish directly to the table, a true two-drawer model may be easier to handle.

Dual Blaze heating and cooking functions

Cosori describes four heating elements that apply upper and lower heat. The current European product page advertises air fry, roast, grill, bake, dehydrate and reheat functions. The exact temperature and time limits depend on the selected function and documented model version; the headline family range does not mean every mode can use every setting.

The current TF102S manual’s cooking table, for example, gives Air Fry a 120–205°C range, Grill 205–240°C and Reheat 40–205°C. That is more useful than assuming one universal range. Presets are starting points: food thickness, starting temperature, loading and spacing still determine when the food is done.

Capacity: what 10 litres does and does not tell you

Cosori markets the layout as 10 litres or 5 L + 5 L. That describes nominal volume, not guaranteed servings. A wide food may fit well in Grandzone, while flat foods still need enough exposed area to crisp. With the divider fitted, each side has less usable width than the combined basket.

  • Likely strong fit: a main plus side for several people, a wide single item, or two foods that should finish together.
  • Possible overkill: one snack portion, a small kitchen or anyone who stores the fryer after every use.
  • Measure first: counter width, full drawer travel, sink space and the clearance above and behind the appliance.

For sizing beyond the litre label, use the air fryer size guide.

Countertop and electrical fit

The official dimensions are 33.8 cm deep, 51.8 cm wide and 31.3 cm high, including the handle. Cosori’s current manual says to leave 13 cm behind and above the appliance, plus enough room in front to remove the basket. The exhaust must not face a wall, cupboard, curtain or socket that could be damaged by hot air or steam.

The European models are rated at 2,800 W on 220–240 V, 50 Hz. Do not buy one for a 120 V kitchen or assume that a plug adaptor changes voltage compatibility. On a shared kitchen circuit, consider what else is running and follow local electrical guidance. The air fryer wattage guide explains how to read the label without inventing energy savings.

VeSync smart features

The TwinFry connects to VeSync for cooking monitoring, recipes and additional controls. Cosori’s current manual says account registration is required and notes that app features can change. It also says cooking cannot be started remotely; the appliance still has complete onboard controls, so loss of the app should not make ordinary manual cooking impossible.

Treat app recipes as guided starting points rather than guarantees. A long ownership decision should rest on basket layout, heating, controls, cleaning and electrical fit—not on a service whose interface or supported integrations may change.

Cleaning and first use

Cosori’s current manual permits the basket, divider and crisper plates to be washed in a dishwasher or with a non-abrasive sponge. Cosori’s support guidance nevertheless recommends hand-washing coated baskets when practical because dishwasher heat and detergent can shorten coating life.

  1. Remove packaging and temporary films.
  2. Wash and dry the basket, divider and both crisper plates.
  3. Wipe the powered housing with a slightly damp cloth; never immerse it.
  4. Install the crisper plates in the correct orientation and seat the silicone stoppers securely.
  5. Run the manual’s empty test cycle before cooking food.

A manufacturing smell should reduce after the test run. If it persists, or if the appliance emits dark smoke, stop using it and follow Cosori’s support instructions. The air fryer cleaning guide covers general technique, but the model-specific manual takes priority.

Safety details worth knowing

  • Do not fill the basket with oil or fat as if it were a deep fryer.
  • Do not overfill food until it can touch the heating elements.
  • Keep paper or parchment weighted by food so airflow cannot lift it into a heater.
  • Use the handle and tongs; the basket, divider and crisper plates become hot.
  • Seat each crisper plate firmly because it can fall when the basket is tipped.
  • Do not block the air inlet or outlet, and keep hands away from escaping steam.
  • Stop and unplug the appliance if dark smoke appears and the cause is not clearly burnt food.

TwinFry versus the 6.4L Dual Blaze

The ordinary European Dual Blaze is a smaller single-basket model. In that product, “Dual Blaze” refers to upper and lower heating—not two zones. Choose it when one 6.4-litre basket is enough and you value a smaller footprint. Choose TwinFry when the removable divider and much wider 10-litre basket solve a recurring meal-layout problem.

Our Cosori Dual Blaze guide covers the smaller model. For the underlying layouts, see dual-zone and air-fryer technology explained.

Buying used or old stock

  • Request a clear rating-label photo and match the full CAF-TF101S or CAF-TF102S code to the correct manual.
  • Confirm the divider, two crisper plates and basket are included and fit securely.
  • Inspect the coating for peeling, deep scratches or blistering.
  • Check the basket handle and housing for cracks or distortion.
  • Reject damaged plugs, heat-marked cables or unofficial electrical repairs.
  • Verify that the controls work in Grandzone and both divided zones.
  • Do not pay a premium for “Chef Edition” until the exact included accessories are documented.

Bottom line

The Cosori Dual Blaze TwinFry earns its counter space when one household genuinely needs both a wide 10-litre cooking area and two independently scheduled 5-litre zones. Its four-element heating, Sync/Match controls and dishwasher-permitted removable parts are useful on paper. Its width, single large basket and 2,800 W electrical requirement are the trade-offs.

The most important buying step is the rating label. TF101S and the current TF102S manuals publish different range limits, so an exact model check is more valuable than any retailer’s “TwinFry Chef Edition” headline.

Frequently asked questions

Does the TwinFry have two baskets?

It has one wide 10-litre basket with a removable divider, not two independently removable drawers. With the divider fitted, the controls treat it as two 5-litre zones.

How many watts does the European TwinFry use?

Cosori’s TF101S and current TF102S European documentation both specify 2,800 W on 220–240 V, 50 Hz.

What is the temperature range?

Check the exact model. Older TF101S documentation publishes 35–240°C, while Cosori’s current TF102S manual publishes 40–240°C. Each cooking function has a narrower permitted range.

Can the basket and plates go in a dishwasher?

The current Cosori manual permits dishwasher cleaning for the basket, divider and crisper plates. Hand-washing with a soft sponge may be gentler on the coating.

Can VeSync start cooking remotely?

Cosori’s current manual says remote starting is not available. The app can monitor cooking, provide recipes and support other controls; onboard controls remain available.
