The useful distinction is how the appliance holds, heats and handles food. Ninja’s family names span several architectures. Choose a layout before comparing preset counts, and keep indoor, outdoor, pressure and steam/air processes separate.
Single drawer, two drawers, divider or stack
A single drawer has one programme. Conventional DualZone has separately removable drawers; FlexBasket/FlexDrawer divides one wide drawer; DoubleStack places two drawers vertically. Racks can add food positions without adding independently controlled cooking zones.
Glass systems are their own platform
Crispi Pro uses a cooking head with matching glassware and base. Two supplied vessel sizes do not make two simultaneous zones. Do not treat portable Crispi, Crispi Pro and a Crispi microwave as interchangeable products or accessories.
Grills and Woodfire
Indoor grills add a contact grilling surface and air-crisp insert. Woodfire is for outdoor operation, using electrical heat and optional pellets for smoke flavour. An air-fry setting does not remove the outdoor-use restriction.
Foodi, SmartLid, Speedi and Combi
Two-lid Foodi and SmartLid support pressure cooking through different lid workflows. Speedi and Combi combine steam/air or oven processes without pressure cooking. Combi opens at the front; Speedi is a pot-and-tray format.
Tray ovens and FlexDoor
Flip-up ovens favour flat food and cooled upright storage. XL ovens offer larger tray formats. FlexDoor divides oven jobs between cavities with their own available programmes; the lower cavity supplies DCT401 air frying.
