Is 6.2 litres enough for a family?
It can be a useful family-sized component cooker, but household size alone is a weak buying rule. Four people sharing fries as a side need a different amount of basket floor than four separate breaded chicken portions. Plan around the largest food that must lie flat and how many batches you will accept.
Cosori’s three-to-five-person positioning is a manufacturer capacity claim. We have not reproduced that serving count. If a main and side must finish together at different temperatures, an independent-zone appliance may solve the meal more directly than a bigger single basket.

There is also a discrepancy within the manufacturer’s current product copy: it says 12 functions in one section and 13 programmes in another. We use the 12-function description supported by its dedicated landing page and manual, and would check the actual control panel before ordering. Programme count should not decide the purchase anyway.
Controls, cleaning and paper liners
This is a single-basket preset-control proposition. A broad “smart” heading on a retail page is insufficient evidence of Wi-Fi controls for a particular unit. If app monitoring matters, obtain explicit confirmation for the exact model rather than borrowing the Lite’s specification.
The basket is described as dishwasher safe. Follow its manual, cool the removable parts and avoid abrasive cleaning or metal utensils on a nonstick surface. Liners are consumables, not a second cooking basket. Do not put an unweighted liner into an operating fryer: circulating air can lift it towards the heater. Use only the sizes and conditions permitted by the manufacturer.

Is every 6.2-litre Cosori the same?
No. Capacity alone does not establish heaters, coating, region, controls or spare-part compatibility. Iconic is another distinct 6.2-litre class model.
Should a US buyer import this European version?
Choose the correct locally rated version. A litre/quart conversion is not evidence that a European electrical appliance belongs on a US outlet.
